Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
This policy explains what information JTL Bin Cleaning collects when you use our website or book a cleaning, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short on purpose: we collect what we need to clean your bins and nothing more.
Who we are
JTL Bin Cleaning is a family-owned trash can cleaning business serving Richland County, Ohio and surrounding areas. You can reach us by phone or text at 419-610-5648 or through the contact form on this site.
Information we collect
Booking and waitlist details. When you fill out a form we ask for your name, service address, phone number, the day your trash is picked up, where you would like the can returned after cleaning, and any notes you add.
Account details. If you create a customer account we store your email address, a secure password (never in plain text), and, if you sign in with Google, the name and email Google shares with your permission.
Billing details. Card numbers are entered directly by our payment processor. We see your plan, billing status and invoices — not your card number, expiration date or security code.
Messages. Anything you send us through the contact form or by text so we can answer it.
How we use your information
- Schedule and perform your cleanings, and return your can exactly where you asked.
- Confirm appointments, service changes, and winter-closure or reopening notices for your plan.
- Manage your account, plan, extra cans, invoices and cancellations.
- Answer questions and handle service issues you raise.
- Keep records required for taxes, insurance and dispute handling.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the companies that help us run the service: our website hosting and database provider, our payment processor, and the messaging service that delivers the texts or emails you asked for. Each of them is limited to doing the job we send them to do. We may also disclose information if we are legally required to.
Cookies and similar storage
We use essential storage that keeps you signed in, protects forms from spam, and makes checkout work. Optional categories — remembering your preferences, usage analytics and marketing — stay off unless you turn them on. Manage all of it any time on the Cookie Settings page.
How long we keep it
Booking and waitlist entries are kept while they are still useful to you and to us — for example so we can honour a spot you reserved for the next season. Account and billing records are kept while your account is open and afterwards as long as tax, insurance and accounting rules require. When you ask us to delete your information, we remove it from our active records and then from backups on the normal backup cycle.
Your choices
- Access or correct what we hold — update your details in your account or tell us what is wrong.
- Delete your account and the personal records tied to it, subject to the billing records we must keep.
- Stop texts or emails — reply STOP to a text or use the unsubscribe link in an email.
- Turn off optional tracking at any time in Cookie Settings.
Ask for any of this by calling or texting 419-610-5648 or sending the contact form. We will verify it is your account before making a change.
Security
Access to customer records is limited to the people who need it, account passwords are hashed, payments are handled by a PCI-compliant processor, and the site is served over HTTPS. No method of storage is perfectly secure, so please do not send us card numbers or passwords by text or email.
Children
Our services and website are intended for adults. A parent or guardian should create an account for anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and describe material changes in a way that reaches customers who have an account with us.
